توافد لاعبو الأهلي من مختلف الأجيال السنية في الإفتتاح الرسمي لمحلات الأهلي سترو والذي قام بتدشينه رئيس النادي الأهلي الكابتن حسن حمدي ومحمود الخطيب ساحر الكرة المصرية ونائب رئيس النادي.

وقد حضر لاعبون من جيل الستينات كالشيخ طه اسماعيل والجيل الذهبي في السبعينات بحضور طاهر الشيخ وبيبو وجيل الثمانينات بوجود ماهر همام وزكريا ناصف وربيع ياسين وجيل التسعينات بوجود خالد بيبو وجيل العمالقة الجديد بحضور عماد متعب ونادر السيد واحمد حسن واحمد السيد والجيل الجديد بوجود احمد شكري ودومينيك واكرامي. وحضر اعلاميون كخالد بيومي وحازم الكاديكي وخالد توحيد وأثنوا على الشكل العام للمحل.

كما حضر الجهاز الفني للأهلي بأكمله وقام الكابتن جوزيه بالتوقيع على التيشرتات للجماهير كما وقع على حائط المجد الذي تم وضعه في المحل للتوقيع عليه من قبل مسؤولي ولاعبي الأهلي. ولكن الطلب الأكبر على التوقيع جاء لحبيب الأجيال "محمود الخطيب" والذي استمر وقتاً طويلاً في ارضاء الجماهير بتوقيعه على منتجات الأهلي. وقد حضر مع "بيبو" حفيده عمر الذي حمله الخطيب اغلب الوقت وكان مرتدياً تي شيرت الأهلي...أملاً في أن يكون "هذا الشبل من ذاك الأسد"

مبروك للأهلي انتقاله الى الأفكار العصرية للأندية العالمية في انتظار خطوة متحف الأهلي والحلم الجماهيري بإستاد الأهلي.
